Join our team! Become a volunteer!
Hartlepool has the huge honour of hosting the world-famous Tall Ships Races again in the summer of 2023.
It comes after hundreds of thousands of visitors from far and wide flocked to the Borough when the vessels last visited in 2010 – the largest free event held in England that year.
To support the delivery of the event again Hartlepool Borough Council are looking to attract, select and train a diverse team of volunteers who will be key to making the Tall Ships Race a success!
In order to deliver a superb Tall Ships event we also need superb volunteers, who have a passion for Hartlepool and want to showcase it to the many visitors who will join us by land and by sea!
Roles
There will be a number of varied and exciting roles available. We would love to have a team of welcoming volunteers who are able to share their knowledge of Hartlepool with visitors and crews. Roles could include way finding, information points, meet and greet, as well as stage and site management support.
